Filing By Date Method: Expired Coupon Inserts to Purge! (Updated 2-3-19)

I use multiple methods to organize all of my coupons. One of these is the “file cabinet method”, which involves keeping whole inserts, and filing them by date for future reference. This is SO easy, and makes sure that I keep the overwhelming pile of inserts OFF of my desk. My file cabinet tends to fill up quickly, however, so we still need to do some housekeeping. Here is a list of all of the ENTIRE inserts that you can throw away if you are filing by date in the file cabinet method:

January 2018 – September 2018

Purge ALL except:
7/22/18: Keep RP (exp 6/30), Purge SS
8/12/18: Keep SS (exp 12/31), Purge RP
9/30/18: Keep SS (exp 12/31), Purge PG, RP

October 2018

10/7/18: Keep RP (exp 4/7), SS (exp 2/7)
10/14/18: Keep SS (exp 2/14), Purge RP
10/21/18: Keep SS (exp 2/21), Purge RP
10/28/18: Keep SS (exp 2/28), Purge RP, PG

November 2018

11/4/18: Keep SS (exp 3/19), Purge RP
11/11/18: Keep SS (exp 3/11), RP (exp 6/30)
11/18/18: Keep SS (exp 3/18), RP (exp 2/28)
11/25/18: Purge PG

December 2018

12/2/18: Keep SS (exp 4/2), RP (exp 3/2)
12/9/18: Keep SS (exp 3/31), RP (exp 3/9)
12/16/18: NO INSERTS
12/23/18: NO INSERTS
12/30/18: Purge PG, RP, SS

January 2019

1/6/19: Keep SS, RP
1/14/19: Keep SS
1/21/19: Keep SS, RP
1/28/19: Keep SS, RP

February 2019

2/3/19: Keep SS, RP
2/10/19: Keep SS, RP
2/17/19: NO INSERTS
2/24/19: Keep SS, RP, PG
