Filing By Date Method: Expired Coupon Inserts to Purge! (Updated 2/5/23)

I use multiple methods to organize all of my coupons. One of these is the “file cabinet method”, which involves keeping whole inserts, and filing them by date for future reference. This is SO easy, and makes sure that I keep the overwhelming pile of inserts OFF of my desk. My file cabinet tends to fill up quickly, however, so we still need to do some housekeeping. Here is a list of all of the ENTIRE inserts that you can throw away if you are filing by date in the file cabinet method:

Purge ALL: January 2022-September 2022  EXCEPT:

OCTOBER 2022

10/23/22: Keep SV (exp 4/1)

NOVEMBER 2022

11/6/22: Keep SV (exp 2/28), SS (exp 3/31)

DECEMBER 2022

12/4/22: Purge SV, SS
12/11/22: Keep SS (exp 2/4), SV (exp 2/11)
12/18/22: NO INSERTS
12/25/22: NO INSERTS

JANUARY 2023

1/1/23: Keep SV (exp 2/26), SS (exp 1/29), PG (exp 1/28)
1/8/23: Keep SS (exp 4/30)
1/15/23: Keep SV (exp 4/30), SS (exp 3/15)

FEBRUARY 2023

2/5/23: Keep SV, SS
2/12/23: Keep SS, SV
2/19/23: Keep SV
2/26/23: Keep SV, SS
