Filing By Date Method: Expired Coupon Inserts to Purge! (Updated 8-8-21)

I use multiple methods to organize all of my coupons. One of these is the “file cabinet method”, which involves keeping whole inserts, and filing them by date for future reference. This is SO easy, and makes sure that I keep the overwhelming pile of inserts OFF of my desk. My file cabinet tends to fill up quickly, however, so we still need to do some housekeeping. Here is a list of all of the ENTIRE inserts that you can throw away if you are filing by date in the file cabinet method:

Purge ALL: January – March 2021 – purge all except:

1/31/21: Keep SS (exp 9/30)
3/21/21: Keep SS (exp 10/30)

April 2021

4/4/21: NO INSERTS
4/11/21: Keep SV (exp 11/30), SS (exp 12/31)
4/18/21: Purge all
4/25/21: Purge all

May 2021

5/2/21: Keep SV (exp 9/30), Purge SS
5/9/21: Purge SV, SS
5/16/21: Keep SS (exp 11/30), SV (exp 12/31)
5/23/21: Purge SV, SS
5/30/21: Purge PG, SV

June 2021

6/6/21: Keep SS (exp 9/6), Purge SV
6/13/21: Keep SS (exp 12/31), Purge SV
6/20/21: Keep SV (exp 12/31)
6/27/21: Keep, SS (exp 9/25)

July 2021

7/4/21: Purge PG
7/11/21: Keep SS (exp 10/31), Purge SV
7/18/21: Keep SS (exp 12/31), SV (exp 10/18)
7/25/21: Keep SV (exp 10/25), SS (exp 9/24)

August 2021

8/1/21: Keep SV (exp 12/31), SS (exp 11/1), PG (exp 8/28)
8/8/21: Keep SV (exp 10/3), SS (exp 12/31)
