My favorite recipe: Slow Cooker Chili

This is my favorite recipe by far, as it is so simple, and tastes so amazing. I usually modify some of the ingredients to fit whatever I have on hand, and I love adding sour cream, diced onions, and cheese (unless you are strange, and do not like cheese). If I use seasoned beans, I do not drain them, as I find that it adds lots of flavor. I make this in a slow cooker, but if you do not have a slow cooker, you can use the oven for 8 hours at 250 in a casserole dish or dutch oven, or even just cook it on the stove. I always make enough to freeze leftovers for another night!

SLOW COOKER CHILI

2-3lbs ground beef, cooked & drained
2 large onions, diced
5 cloves garlic, minced
2 bell peppers, diced
2 14oz cans beans, drained
1 14oz can diced tomatoes
2 jalapenos, seeded & minced
1 Tbl cumin
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 c beef broth

Add all ingredients to slow cooker, and cook on high for 4 hours, or low for 8 hours.
