Welcome Everyone!!!

I would like to welcome everyone to our Kouponing group! There are a TON of resources available to help you start saving BIG, but this should help you to get started. First of all, the facebook couponing group is a great support system to ask questions about deals, coupons, “what went wrong”, etc, so I would absolutely recommend being a member of the group. Also, please add anyone who you think would benefit from saving cash; that is the best thing that you can do to help the group! Next, I post every blog post in the facebook group (although the group does get some exclusives, like amazon flash deals), but in order to know what to do with these posts, I would recommend our Resources tab. This tab has everything that you need from coupon lingo to smart phone apps to store coupon policies. It is a great reference when you are trying to figure out a deal. In addition to resources, while you are on the home page, I would also recommend that you sign up for the daily newsletter. All of my posts are sent out the following day in one nice neat email for your review. In addition, I have started a new “e-course” of “One Week to Koupon Like Katie”, where you get a daily email beginning on the first of the month for one week as a “jump start” to couponing.

The first thing that I would do if you are trying to start is to pick just one store, or one deal, or even one coupon, and figure just that out. Decide that you are going to buy Huggies at Target this week, ask all of the questions you can in the group, and then report back how your trip goes. Everyone in the group is learning (and very nice and helpful!), so your experiences will benefit everyone. The best way that I learned is I went out and totally screwed everything up, and then learned how to not do that again. This group and blog will help to shorten your learning curve so that you can start realizing your savings very quickly, and get you on the road to saving some serious cash!!!
