$2.90 NEW Territory Food’s Meal Service, Includes Vegan/Paleo/Healthy Meals, Ready Made!!!

I have a super exciting new one for you! I have just found out about Territory Food’s meal service, and I am super pumped. This is a HEALTHY meal service that makes single serve, ready to eat, breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. I went in with not-so-great expectations since everything is already pre-made, and I was SO surprised. The servings are huge, the meals are healthy, and they are very tasty. I ordered 2 dinners and 2 lunches to try out the service, but you can literally try as many meals as you want, and they even have a killer intro offer. There is one HUGE difference with this company and lots of the other meal service companies; they DO NOT deliver now do offer delivery to those select markets as well. It is pretty crazy, but you pickup your order (or get your order delivered) from them, delivered to tons of locations, mainly fitness centers, across Southern California, San Francisco Bay, and DC/MD/VA. Yup, that’s it. So if you live in one of those areas, check this one out; it is a GREAT offer!!

When I went to pickup my box, they have a specialized fridge with a dozen boxes inside and I just grabbed my box and left. It was super easy, and the location I go to is even accessible without turning the car off; very convenient. You will need to check their delivery areas to make sure that it is an area that fits your schedule, as there are none within 15 minutes of our home in Santa Clarita.

The box that I picked up had the 4 meals that I decided to get packed in the box, and each meal was packed in a heavy duty (reusable!) plastic container that could be put in the microwave. Each container also had the expiration date, calories, and nutrition breakdown. I was able to choose from several meal options, they had vegetarian, vegan, allergy, and other ways to sort through their meals, so for someone with dietary restrictions, this is a GREAT option.

These are the meals that I got. Note that 3 of the four didn’t have a traditional “carb” side item; they had REALLY good substitutes:

Buffalo Chicken w/Cumin Carrot & Raisin Salad

This one was SO good. It was essentially a carrot coleslaw with buffalo chicken on top. I wasn’t able to finish this one, but it was super yummy. I have been dying to grab some wings, and this actually satisfied that craving really well.

Paleo Piri Piri Chicken w/Green Beans & Roasted Cauliflower

This chicken was very juicy, and the sauce was similar to a chimichurri sauce with a kick. The beans and cauliflower were still crisp tender, and this was the perfect portion size for me.

Pollo Rojo w/Cilantro Lime Cauliflower Rice

I have seen so many recipes for riced cauliflower, and honestly haven’t had a chance to try them. This one was SO good! I didn’t notice the fact that it was a veggie substitute (no, really!), and the chicken had a saucy kick. This one was again too much food for me, but was oh-so-good

Beef Chimichurri w/Bacon-Sweet Potato Mash & Carrots

This chimichurri sauce might be my favorite ever. The beef was a perfect, tender medium after reheating (yes!), and the mashed potatoes were fluffy, with a mountain of perfectly cooked carrots. I actually ended up splitting this one as a lunch; the portions on this were large as well.

Overall I was very impressed with the quality of food. I was uneasy about pickup, but it was super simple and easy; just check for the closest location; I picked one next to some store pickups I was already doing and it was on my way. The portions were HUGE, especially for as low calorie as these were, and there was a huge selection of items available. They are even offering an awesome intro offer right now! You can get $25 off any order, and two meals comes to just $2.90 (and this will be off of your first two boxes!!). They do offer the option of a “one time” pickup for 5% more; a good option if you are the kind of person who can’t remember to cancel 🙂 .
